Ran to Tenley, knowing Sam and dog weren't joining. Proposed MacArthur and we (Alex, Jesse, and I) took Loughboro, turned left in sight of Sibley, MacArthur to BK trail (sky was lightning just enough that we didn't twist any ankles) and parted from Alex at Neb and Vann Ness, before parting from Jesse at Wisc and Belt. I even looped an extra block to try and ensure I'd gotten to 8. Felt fine, and it was nice not to be stopping for the dog constantly. Pace must have still averaged in the 9s, but I was 8:13 to Tenley and sub 8 on the way home.
