A distracted workout

Weather: 60 and so mild

Comments:
Ran to catch up with distance group at AU, pace dropped to 6:36 effort along Neb to reach Ward in 7:13. No drills, but at fear getting the workout started, I jumped into the 2nd of 6 300s a coed group was running. Did five, mostly with Zoe Maas, then one on which I was dusted with 100 to go by Charlotte Glendenning, and then added on two more 15 minutes later with (or behind) a group including Irerie, Gideon, and Shanwai. Cooldowns were a generous 100 meters and times were roughly. 64, 64, 61, 62, 58, 58, 57, 57. I wasn’t very focused on myself and simply tried to pace and match the students, but it wasn’t easy and I definitely got in some good speed. All in all, it felt like I was benefiting from last week’s speed at Prep and surely this will help too. Steady run back to GDS with team.
