I still think this meet is really poorly named. The only relay is the 4x4. Anyway, first track meet since freshman year, and I think I felt the rust a little bit in the open. Ran the 400 (52.98) and 4x4 (52-mid/high split). In the open, went out fast according to plan, but it probably ended up being a little too quick to sustain, and I had nothing left in the last 100. Felt really shitty afterwards, but was able to recover enough to run the relay pretty well, running essentially the same time but feeling a lot better doing it. Was hoping to run a little faster in both races, but not a bad place to start the season, especially since it's been so long since I've raced. Was a little worried about the hamstring before the race, and was dressed super warm the whole meet because of it, but it ended up not being an issue, which I was real happy about.
Did med ball abs and some pullups after the meet with Kurt, Chris, and Drew.
