Comments:
Couldn't get a white bus, so I was actually able to run over after putting Durham and Leland onto a full sized bus. Took off with focus to catch the team, but got going briskly and decided to just move past the various groups as I caught them. Pace along the later parts of Wisc was around 6:40. got to STA in 12:53. Then helped organize teams and fit in one strider. Was on a team with nNthaniel Mintzer and James Garland (STA brother of Caroline G). Ran anchor. Managed one strider before starting. Splits were 79, (2:39 rest) 78, (2:46 rest) 77, (2:52 rest)76. Intended to run home after the awards ceremony, but ended up needing to stick around for the bus which was apparently parked up Pilgrim Road for 15 extra minutes. All in all, a pretty successful Avocado.
