Searching for houses of worship

July 12, 2024 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: humid, high 70s, light rain

Comments:
Led a small group -Nathan and Gideon- on a mostly efficient route which looked like a swerving version of Ward-Tenley. Touched the property of 23 houses of worship in 42:48, but those 48 second past the grace period made our official count only 22. The Wisconsin Ave light turning red as we approached Tenley Circle cost us the chance to nab a 24th at the Baptist church. Particularly proud of nabbing the chapel at the convent behind St. Anne's in Tenley. All I know is that our group outperformed Mark's rag-tag aggregation of confused runners who didn't actually know which groups they were in. I felt decent for most, but was definitely working hard in that last mile and a half which accelerated past 7 flat by the very endSo humid, we got some fine rain. Total mileage was about 5.3, according to their Garmins.
