So after eating dinner and refueling and reading some more of my book I felt like going for another run. I just wanted to make it short, stretch the legs so I ran a 5k. It felt good, really good. I thought I was going to be struggling after running 9 miles earlier in the day, but I felt great. Good enough to sprint the last mile and run it in 6 minutes. I surprised myself. It was a great feeling and I can't wait to run tomorrow. It's days like these why I now remember why I love to run. The satisfaction is beyond words and it's a feeling of accomplishment that is only familiar to you.
