Decided I was tired of resting my achy heel and it was time to start running again. Did Lew's classic loop and felt fine. Cardio seemed okay, although who can really tell on day one. The legs felt like they were going the appropriate pace, but who can really tell. I'm heavier for sure, around 185lbs. Without a doubt my legs will need time to return to strength, but I think I can feel the stronger quads from the bike workouts I've been doing 3-4 times a week over the past 6 weeks. Outside of right ankle was odly tight and left foot was achy, but the notorious right heel wasn't particularly noticeable. Ran in the old black trainers with the gel pads that I've been wearing around for the past 3 weeks and I think that was a good choice... to have the gel pads in my shoes.
