First day of Track practice

You are talking to the head track and field coach for Tafuna High School. It's the first year they've had track, and I only had 9 guys and 1 girl show up today, but I'm hopeful we'll have more. I had the guys run a mile and a 100m dash. The fastest mile was 6:35, which isn't horrible, considering they haven't run a step really ever. The fastest 100m was 11.3 seconds, but the kid that did it didn't wear shoes, so I think he'll definitely be under 11 with them. Both these kids were freshmen too, so that's promising. Ran when practice got done. 6 miles easy, then lifting. Finally got my resistance bands in the mail, so I did pull ups, push ups, lunges, calf raises, bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder press, abs, and lower back. Pretty good work out.
