Comments:
Ran 5 mile interval; first 3 miles I ran at a comfortable pace, averaging 9:40 per mile. Took a water break at mile 1.6 and again at mile 3. Starting mile 4, I did 10x30 seconds speed intervals, with 1 minute jog in between. After the 5th interval, I was dead tired. Took 30 second break, then did 2 more intervals. Took water break, then finished 8-10 intervals. Average pace for last 2 miles was 9:04 per mile. Very tired when it was all over, but felt progress.
