Comments:
Campus Loop and around the Kac + strides, mile in 4:27.39. First 200 was slow (34/35?) then we picked it up. I feel like if I could have gotten loose I might have had a shot at the win (I got 3rd). 10 minute cooldown. The 800 totally snuck up on me and I didn't really warm up. First 200 was too fast (28.x) and wound up running 2:02.39. Kind of a crowded race. 20 minute cooldown with Brent as he was warming up for the 5k. Overall pleased with the night.
Next week will be a good 3k, then I'll try to pop a fast mile at Denison. will have a good 3-4 weeks after that to really pile on mileage and 5k workouts.
