Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
not so good. supposed to do 4 x mile with 3 min rest at 5:25...which is ridiculously fast. and didn't happen at all. i ran the first one in 5:30, it felt pretty hard and very fast. the next one i ran in 5:46. i just gave up. then coach told me to split the next two and try and hit 2:40s-ish. i ran a 2:47, she tried to tell me i was done but I convinced her to let me do one more. 2:44 for the last one. i did a 5:54 with andrea and colleen later just to help them stay on pace and to make myself feel better about not doing 4 miles.
i honestly think that I just need to do workouts that build my confidence and make me feel fast...like I did in cross. Lately I just feel so slow and like I can never do anything that Coach tells me too. I absolutely hated running during that 5:46 mile....I was thinking about how I didn't even care if I got to nationals and other bad stuff. I need to get focused again and feel like I'm fast.
