Exercise Type: Run
Weather: upper 70s, sunny, great
Comments:
Averaged about 6:50 pace. Started at like 7:10s and did most of it at 6:45s. The back of my left knee and upper left IT band started to bug me at times, but then I'd stop and stretch my legs and that seemed to help. Also, consiously trying to run with relaxed legs seemed to help as well. I had to stop to stretch three times. It would seem to hurt in the back of my knee if I'd try to extend my lower leg forward (by pivoting it from the knee) just before the foot lands during running. It really wasn't that bad, but I think it's the sort of thing that the more you get it to hurt, then the more rest you're going to need to get it to not hurt. It's more of a proactive thing I guess. Did hip exercises, stretched, and iced afterwards.
