Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran 1200 of Justine's mile, attempting to pace for for a 5-flat mile. That did not go well at all. We were under for the 1st 400, but then just kept dropping off pace. I feel like it was my fault, and I made some attempts to get us to pick it up, but I wasn't really feeling it and I don't think Justine was either. It was just sort of a shock to be moving that fast. I never run stuff that fast. I know she can do it, so hopefully next weekend she'll get in a competitive mile and just hang on the back of a sub-5 pack and they'll take her to the time.
After that I was pissed at myself so asked coach if I could run the 3k and try and get abby a PR. That went much better. She ran a 10:56... actually it may have been 55... either way though it was good. She seemed really relaxed the whole time and I was impressed with how much she moved up in the race from like 800 on. It felt super easy to run with her and I'm glad I got more of a workout in.
