1st race reflection

Comments:
3200: I ran this race not like I usually run races. I usually speed up the second half of my race, but this time my first mile was a lot faster than my second mile, which is weird, because I didn't feel like I was going too fast on the first mile. I tried to stay with that Borah girl, but towards the end, she started to get farther and farther away from me. I sped up the last 200, seeing people in front of me and hoping to catch her, but I only caught people who were actually behind me. I got 13:05, which is my second fastest time in the 3200, and I should feel better about that than I do. I guess I just wanted to come in 2nd, but you can't always get everything you want. I'm definately going to try to break 13 mins in my next race though.

1600: This race wasn't so good. I actually ran this race slower than the first mile of my 3200. I guess I really just wasn't that motivated. I ran hard, but I think I didn't really race hard, if that makes sense. I didn't really feel like running it, and I guess I didn't care so much how I did by this point, I just wanted to get it over with. I'll try a lot harder in my next 1600.
