I have a 5k coming up in 1.5 weeks, and I haven't run that distance straight (without stopping to stretch or drink) in a VERY long time. So basically, I ran a 5k just to prove to myself I can run a 5k. And believe it or not, there were points during it where I was wondering if I was going to make it or not. Breathing was the major issue, and I turned really really red (but I was inside and on a treadmill, so maybe that's why) but I made it. I'm gonna keep trying to up my mileage now.

Ran the first 1.5 miles at 12:00 pace, then slowly worked my way up to 8:40 pace.
