Weather: 80ish or 90ish, just way too hot

Comments:
Greg wasn't in the 4x800 so I had to anchor. I pushed the first lap to make sure we had it and then relaxed on the second lap.

This was my first mile all year, I took third which I was happy with. Couldn't hold with John on the last lap but I did have the 2 mile still. Heat was starting to get to me.

Felt kinda drained when we got to the two mile but I promised 4 guys I'd pace them to go under 12:00. The first mile was right on, we kinda slowed down a bit after that. I pushed hard with 400 to go to get them moving, Skyler took first, Ziggy second, and Shane Henson third. I was perfectly fine giving them all the points. Some people like Jimmy and my mom didn't think I should but my time wasn't going to be good and I didn't care about the points by then. My legs were feeling it though and I didn't want to sprint too hard to risk injury. Plus I'm really trying to get Skyler to do cross country.

Overall I was very pleased with his meet. Times weren't good but that was understandable. With 2 more meets this week I wouldn't have wanted to push any harder than I did today as well.
