Exercise Type: Run
Weather: hot
Comments:
Whoo Hoo! 3rd week of P.Ring, I think, maybe 2nd. oh well.
soo it was super hot and I was excited to run.
800: 2:20.34!!!!!!! AHHHH! super excited. at the beginning EVERYBODY started out crazzzy fast. I was pushed around quite a lot and elbowed a few times but it ended up being a good thing because the first lap was slower than my second lap, i think, that's how it felt anyway. I thought I ran a really good strategical race. And at the end me and Callie were reeally close,,, as in .2 second apart. and I SPRINTED at the end of all of my races. !!! ps. a PR!
1600: soo after my 800 I was tired and very hot... soo I findished the 800 and almost immediately had to start warming up for the mile. so I warmed up. and ran the race in.....5:19 !!!!
I didn't think I did that good because angie beat me... (although she did not run the 800) but I did beat cheryn Trapp, so that was cool and .... I beat her in the final stretch! meaning I also sprinted in the final stretch. so i think that if I ran with that competition while i'm fresh I could get 5:15 or lower.
***Happy dance***
400: ha ha, basically disqualified the team. I was second leg and they didn't explain that we cut in AFTER the first 100 meter so I ended up shoving the girl next to me after I traveled out of my lane in the first 2 seconds I got the baton. soo I just took it as a good learning experience and to never do it again so whop dee doo! I don't think anyone really cared though because we ended up last. Felt veerrryy tired.
Rachel and Becca looked great and strong though.
Callie and me were quite tired but props to our whole team
heard Chris Martinez did awesome...4:38 mile i think..
oh and another thing Mike,,, I almost didn't recognize him! he RAN ON HIS TOES!!!
Mike you looked freaking fast! and were really fast also!!
