A Little Quicker

Comments:
Veale up North Park to Eaton to South Park and back down to Veale (with Peter), to Ugly Statue and back (alone) - My knee felt fine and my ankle was only a mild annoyance for this run. We went a little faster than I have been used to running, which is nice because it proves I actually can. I think in 2-3 weeks I'll be able to start normal summer training, right on schedule.

I saw Dr. Miskovski afterward to see about the cortisone shot. She evaluated that I have no serious strength/flexibility problems any more. Basically, I am healthy, not in the greatest shape, but finally healthy. She told me I should NEVER run more than 40 miles a week. I just smiled and nodded. There's no point in fighting that battle any more...
