Decided long beforehand to only run the 2 mile. As soon as we got there Kell said that it was gonna be really hard to get a PR but he wanted to see "effort PRs". That made me feel great since I needed a 24 second PR to qualify for Stan-Morgans in the 3200.
I started the race sitting on Greg cause he said he'd pace me. One kid from Palmyra went out quick but it wasn't anyone recognizable so we figured we catch him. My legs were shot after 2 laps for some reason. I let a 5 meter gap go with Greg. With about 3 laps left he dropped me gunning for the first place kid. John caught me with 2 to go and beat me for a sprint in the last 100. Cooldwon to the Railroad with John afterward but we didn't have to climb any trains.
