Dirt track tune-up

Comments:
Tune-up workout. Ran to Bierman with by flats to find out that a HS meet was going on, EFF. Ran all the way to the dirt track after a couple minutes of standing figuring out what to do. The dirt track is less than ideal for a fast workout because, well, it's made of dirt. That and the 20+ MPH winds were brutal. Workout went well considering that I slept for 0 hours on Sunday night. I thought I was going to feel worse than I did. 5K times were inconsistent, which makes it a good thing I did this workout. I was only doing them to get used to running the proper pace. I didn't want to exert myself to much because my times were artificially slow due to dirt and wind, I think my effort was correct, though.


4x400M @ 5K pace (73-74) with 400M full rest
4x200M @ 1500M pace (32-33) with 200M full rest
