Ran the intersquad meet today. Team W dominated! well this wasn't a particularly good race. I felt slow, and was having a tough time keeping a slow pace. at the end of the first mile, which was 6 flat, i was already pretty toasted. however, nobody passed after the 1200 mark, and i felt like i finished stronger than most of the people around me. i was also closer to my time from last year in this 5k than i was in the 2 mile time trial, which is encouraging for the 8k. also, my knee and back didnt hurt at all again today. so although i wasnt really happy with the time, there are a few upsides and i anticipate getting a lot better as the season goes on, as opposed to last year, where i regressed.
