This run was really bad. It shouldn't have been that hot when it is only in the upper 60s, but it was. The sun completely drained me making it labored from 1.5 miles on. I really think this was more mental than anything because my legs weren't tired and my breathing was ok. I am glad I did go during the hottest part of the day though because I will most likely be running at 6pm during the weekdays for the rest of the summer. I need to be accustomed to that.

Overall this week was pretty sloppy for running. I didn't get an 8 mile long run in, but I got 3 7s. I was hoping to run only 5 days this week, but I ran 6. I anticipated being able to hit 7 minute pace by just striding out a run easily, but not true. The one day I consciously decided to push it went really well though. Next week will be more organized because I will be forced to run at certain times. Still on my way to building a good base and going back to Case in great shape.
