Race Review

My plan for the race was to try and p.r. and just to run mentally strong during the second mile, where i had struggled at the first meet. I felt that i ran in a pack really well and passed alot of people, using them as motivation for me to keep up/quicken my pace. I absolutely did not start off well at all, and at the very begging when i looked behind me, i reallized that i was basically in last place. The first mile i felt really good. my legs felt awesome and it was easier to run in a pack with carson and nate than running by myself. By the second mile we had passed tons of runners and i was feeling really good. I started picking up my pace by the 2 and a half mile point and so did the kid in frong of me who i started to run with. By the time i got on the track we were going crazy and i knew that it was going to be a battle with me and the kid next to me. I started my kick at 200 meters and passed the kid next to me. There was a caldwell runner in front of me that i knew i could pass so i picked it up ever faster and by the time i caught up to him i thought he was out of energy. We sprinted as fast as we could to the finish line started about 30 meters before. At the end he just barely beat me by inches. I felt like i ran an awesome race and i was really proud of myself and my time
