1st 14 miler of the season

Weather: start time temp around 90

Comments:
Ran at Stoney, first loop felt really good. The sun was covered by the clouds and there was a nice breeze due to the storms that never came. I could have used them. Second loop was a different story. Sun came out, got extremely hot, did not take fluids throughout the run which was a mistake, so I started to fatigue. I wanted to quit during miles 7-10, I was very close, but I somehow convinced myself to keep going. Once I got through 10 miles it started to get a little cooler, and my legs actually started feeling a lot better. Good 14 miler considering mentally this wasn't my day, and I still had a strong run. First week in the 70's so hopefully my body adapts to this mileage before I hit my speed training phase. Great week!
