Comments:
My breathing felt fine, but my legs (quads and calves) got sore during the race. Probably because I haven't raced since the beginning of outdoor track season last year. I came through mile one in 5:27 and the 3-mile in exactly 16:30. My four mile split was somewhere around 22:30 which means I slowed down a good bit because my legs were near exhaustion but I still ran a good last mile once I started back downhill and finished in 28:05. Like I said before, my breathing felt fine the whole race, I just need to have a few more races and workouts to get my legs used to the fast pace and lactic acid.
