Stonehenge STorm

September 14, 2008 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 75, windy, overcast

Comments:
This was a thoroughly enjoyable run because the wind was so ridiculous. We ran during the worse of the storm, which actually didn't seem so awful at the time, but it managed to knock down huge trees all over the roads and campus, and put the power out all over Ohio. We ran out into the headwind and played the leaf catching game. I think will won. The crosswind was so bad on Hopewell Pat almost got blown off the road. There was a massive tree down right before Grove Church that we tried to move for a car but couldn't. Once we hit grove church and had a tailwind we jumped up in the air and let the wind carry us a little bit. Will and Pat split off to do 10 while Jim and I did 8. Once we got back on Big Run towards campus we picked it up a bit with the tailwind.
