Recovery Run

Weather: Easy, Breezy, Beautiful....Covergirl!

Today was a good day. I felt like I was really on my game. I felt like I could have even pushed it more. Shins only hurt when I stopped for water at the 4 and the end of Narnia (the very end, not by the hobo-shed-shack). Started out running with Bettine and Julia....and it was good. Then, on the way in, I ran with Alyssa and a little bit of Delilah. I felt like I sprinted the last half mile. No, I didn't feel it, I did it. When I got back I was greeted with smiles and people asking me why I am called 'Cuadra' I said, "Call me Ishmael!" We went over nutrition, but I'm a little skeptical on some of it. We also went over the itinerary for Saturday's race. Then, we studied our form from a previous video. I discovered that I need to raise my knees and keep my arms at a 90 degree angle. I also learned that when I run, I turn into an eagle and try to fly away. Though, it doesn't always work the way I had hoped. Note to self: stop telling people my passwords and don't let Adelmann pinch me tomorrow.
