run for the pie!

A lot of people didn't seem to like this race, but I did! The uphill was hard, but I felt like I was going on an adventure, since we were running up in the foothills with not many people around. I'm really glad we ran hills in practices, because I think it really prepared me for this race. The downhill went by super fast! I came in 16th place and I chose my own pie. It probably didn't look very appetizing to other people, but I knew exactly what was in my pie, and knew that it would be delicious, which it was. I brought a fork to the meet and ate a piece of pie right after I got it. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of my pie though, because for the rest of the season, I'm done with junk food. Hopefully someone in my family will eat it.
