Today smirk wanted me to run with rachel tt. and we were supposed to do the longest run (alexander) but when we got to washington my hip flexer was acting up and i told smirk (since he was there) and he said i should do washington so thats what i ended up running. i was able to really get into the run once we hit the canal. before i wasn't really feeling it. i felt like the pace was so fast but now that i look at how fast it actually was- it was only 9 minute miles. thats not very fast. i guess i'm a little dissapointed but if this is what i can handle right now then theres nothing wrong with it. like smirk said- he knows that i'm not going to sandbag a workout. thats just not me. thats not something that i do. and he also said that he trusts that i trust my body to know when i'm ready to take that next step.
