Weather: Low 70s, sunny, and breezy
Comments:
5:33/5:34/5:42/0:34. Legs actually felt okay during race, but did not have the lungs behind me today. Really broke down form-wise in 3rd mile, ran alone the entire race. Placed 5th overall, 2nd in 25-29 age group. Could have pushed a little more in the first 2 miles, but not having raced since Thanksgiving, I was a little timid. Didn't have the speed, but had some strength to keep me in it. Not what I wanted it to be, but with no training or speed work, I can't be too bummed.
This puts me about where I was for the 5k last September. If I start to step up my pace for runs, I should be good to go for the Marathon!
