first race of sophomore year- Montrose

Weather: sunny, warm, nice

Comments:
varsity guys ran at 10:45. last night i had linguine with spinach carrots and sauce. this morning i had a muffin for breakfast, and then a clif bar and some more muffin and bagel before the race. my heel started hurting a bit when i did speed d and striders in my spikes. started out really fast to keep up (we were trying to go in a pack). i think i started out too fast because i slowed down a lot after about 1000 meters. then the rest of the race was trying to catch zack and not letting noah catch me. came in 15th overal, our team in second. not pleased or unpleased with my time. my heel was hurting on the cooldown. can't wait until next race, i really want to be up there with tim and ryan
