This race was my worst mentally and physically since the mile at home last year outdoor. I thought I might actually stop running after the first mile - I'm not sure if I really believed myself though. I told myself that I couldn't give up trying to stay with Morgan unless Brady came and ran with Morgan- that was just a ploy to try to make myself run faster. It failed. It helped to have people cheering and my dad and coach yelling, I always like when people push me. I'm a pleaser I guess. After the race I crossed the finish line and was exhausted, so I realized I was more tired than I thought - i thought it was all mental. After I realized how physically tired I was, I attributed it to lack of sleep the week previous, but 6 hours the night before isn't that bad?
Calves were tired in the beginning of the race.
