i feel like i broke down a little bit of the wall that i've had up during the season so far. or, i could also look at it from the perspective that i dug myself out an inch or two more from the rut that i've been sitting in for the past few weeks. smirk said i did a good job. and when smirk gives you a compliment on your race- it means something. he said i had a really good last half mile and so far, i'm really liking this course. i feel like theres so many different sections that allows for more concentration on a give task, but there were many points where i just tuned out and hoped to be finished that much sooner. but just like its harder to be positive than negative, it's harder to focus and involve yourself in the task, than to just keep cruising. and i realized that during this race. but at the end of the day, you have to runt he course whether you like it or not so you mine as well run it as fast as you can.
