Comments:
started out intenionally slow (5:44) and locked in my pace for the first 3 miles. Probably fell off from 1.5-2.5, but not too bad. Hit the 5k in 17:38 then gradually picked up the effort and then even the pace over the last 3k. Had a lot left in the tank as evident by the last 300 meters. Finished in 28:27. Not bad, considering my season goal was to break 30:00.
