Up at the crack of dawn - 5:57am. I think the last time I woke up this early to run was freshman year in Ghana. But its truly wonderful. The whole town's asleep and you're just king of the world, crusing through the frosty morning twilight, bounding up hills and over logs, back for a shower and hearty breakfast before half-the-school has even put its socks on. I loved exploring new trails in the woods, and ended up really booking it to get back in time, flying up Randolph ave at what must have been a 6:30ish pace. Sweet long tempo.
