xc pool death

the infamous pool practice today, it was every bit as bad as i remember, if not worse. nice warmup down there, then a bunch of stuff. lotsa pool running, pool sprinting, shallow end springing (touching the ground, i got blisters from that stuff), kickboard relays (i used a noodle, fml), push ups (out of the pool obviously), and the like. legs friggen hurt to begin with but it actually didnt hurt em worse. just very exhausting, especially to the arms. all around a very good workout, but i was so dead after i nearly fell asleep standing up. since it was such hard work, im gonna log 5 miles. its probably the intensity level equilivant cause that pool stuff lasted about an hour to an hour and a half.
