I liked my race very much. I stayed conservative for the majority of it. My goal for this one was to relax mentally as much as possible, and at the same time work as hard as I could without thinking about it. I'm certain I could have done considerably better in the race, because although at the end I was sore, I wasn't too tired. But I think I figured out how to run races effectively in a way that works for me, since competition itself doesn't do the trick.

I also was having a lot of hip and leg pain today and the day before the race, and I wanted to make sure I didn't aggravate that since it seemed like I definitely could have.
