I finally broke my PR from sophomore year is HS! wahoo! I was pretty pumped after I finished this race. I really liked the course, and I think most people ran pretty well. I'm glad everyone warned us not to freak out if our first mile was way fast, because I definitely would have. I usually come through around 6:40 something, but I came through at 6:07. I felt good the whole time, and caught a bunch of people in the last 1k. This was 40 seconds faster than I've ever run a 5k, so that was pretty cool.
I think we were supposed to do a strength circuit, but by the time we had cooled down and the awards were over, it was time to leave. Oh well...
