Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got out the door around 6:28am, just before sunrise. The air was cold and for the first time all season, I wore a second layer. The ground was dry however and the sky clear as could be. I cruised down Randolph, then onto Edgehill, trying to stay on pavement because of a sore ankle. Pace felt solid, thought not super-swift. Cruised around the back neighborhoods, cut through Cunningham park, and up the really big hill I found sandwiched between the golf course and the highway. A brilliant orange sun glowed on the horizon as I submitted, and I felt like I was on top of the world. Returned via East Milton and Quincy. Ran almost the entire time without any pauses (hit a couple red lights). Feels great to be back in my element, even if it's not super-fast. I should get more sleep though.
