monster workout #2

2 mile warm up
10 x 550, first 5 @ race pace, last 5 @ 5-10sec faster
2 x 1200 @ 20sec faster than race pace
4 x uphill sprints
cool down

was a pretty good workout for me. a bit fast on the first 5 550s, but was able to pick it up faster for the last 5. the 1200s were tough. I was supposed to hit 3:58-3:59, and i was 4:03 on both. close enough i guess. felt horrible on the first one, but got a second wind on the last that kept me going. felt like kind of a mini monster, sunday will be worse.
