I had an awesome recovery today! I went to the Life-Styles Gym today after work. I wanted to workout with as little pounding on my feet as possible but maintain a good cardio workout. This I did by utilizing the life-fitness elliptical machine. I went for thirty minutes with the machine set on the the cardio setting. I burned about 550 calories and the machine was able to keep my heart rate at about 138. But what made my day was a couple of other things. For one, I weighed in at 217lbs. That is a magic number I was shooting for because it is the weight that Eric Delacruz told me he weighed. I caught up to him. Secondly and more important I took Matt to the football game and we did not get back until after midnight. I could have called in today and did not. I dragged my ass out of bed and went to work.
