didnt break 19 like I hoped. pace was actually a bit slower than potomac. but I realize there are a few things that didnt go well; I was sick, wasn't well warmed up (only a few striders), it was hot and there was no shade, the race was very crowded, I went out too fast. the worst thing was probably the heat, it tends to really get to me, maybe cause I'm so pale. I guess I'm disappointed not because I ran slightly slower than at potomac, but cause this was when I made my big breakthrough last year.
