warmed up 2 miles then ran the 8k course comfortably hard, staying smooth and relaxed--ran 29:07 which was about 30 seconds faster than this same thing last week (and I didn't feel like I was pushing as hard today). stomach still fullish from lunch. hip flexor didn't hurt so I did the A3s with the second group:1200m(3:49),1000m(3:09),800m(2:27). Felt flat at the beginning from doing the 8k before--the times were faster than they felt. cooled down for about 10 minutes. iced hip flexor but it was only barely noticeable.
