Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
i went into the race feeling really pumped. i had heard about how fast this course was, so my goal was to run around 26:30. i felt good before the race except for a weird pain in my arm, maybe i slept on it funny. the race started, and i took off to the front pack, running in the top five or so. we hit the first mile around 5:09, which seemed like a good pace. i stuck with the top group through mile 2 but we all slowed down to about a 5:30. from there, the pack kinda broke up. i got passed by paul and aaron, but i tried to hang in. i felt pretty awful, but kept going. through the last mile, i focused on turnover, caught a few guys, and finished pretty strong. i ran slower than all-ohio. i was disappointed.
cooled down, stretched. my arm hurts more.
