The Michigan.. For real this time

Weather: Nice day. Cooler kinda windy at the track though

Comments:
We did the Michigan today. It was for real. We did the intervals on the track and the tempo miles on a loop around the stadium and parking garage. Just like last year I came into this thinking it was going to be harder than it was. Don't get me wrong it was hard and I'm pretty tired now but I wasn't completely destroyed or anything. I pretty much held things together and just did it. I wonder if the intervals should have been harder. Like a 4:4x mile or something. I don't know. I'll talke to coach about it. She said hard for the intervals so I guess its okay but the tempos were faster than the suggested pace. Well this workout was a whole lot better than it was last year that's for sure. Even with it being on grass last year. Me now would destroy me from this time last year. And that a great sign looking at what I accomplished last year. I also went back just now and looked at the goals I set for myself after Outdoor confrence in April. I acomplished one with my 15:56 5k split on Saturday. 1 down 3 to go!
Workout format: 1 mile hard, 1 mile tempo, 1200 hard, 1 mile tempo, 800 hard, 1 mile tempo, 400 hard, 1 mile tempo. 200 shuffle between everything. Intervals goal "hard" tempos goal 5:20.
Splits: 4:53, 5:30, 3:40, 5:21, 2:21, 5:17, 66, 5:18. 200's between 1:30 and 2min.
Props to Paul and Peter who both broke 5 for the first time today and putting themselves out there early!
Static 1, roll, abs and pushups and hips with Blaire and other people that were around like Ethan, pullups and dips, ankle stuff, 15min ice bath
