St James Meet~ PR: 23:23.

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
The Perfect Conditions to run a meet. (Ok maybe minimal warming up, still being exhausted by life, and long bus ride didnt help) Forget all that because I was running loops which are my favorite. I know exactly how far I have left at all times during the race, and I know what parts to push of the course...(previous PR's have all been on loop courses except for Prep) ...and we were running with the girls which is great for me, because usually I dont have a GDS guy to run with, they are either ay ahead or way behind. I stuck to Marissa and Katherine for the first mile ish...then peeled back...there was no one at the meet, meaning i wasnt worrying too much about messing up my steady pace to pass people, and i didnt lose any motivation because I didnt get passed. All these, plus a long seasons hard work paying off led me to PR by like a minute and half...when I heard the time I was in denial and thought it was a minute off and had to double check with Anthony. I shouldnt get to excited, because its just one race, so I am going to try and duplicate this time at champs or state meet where I wont have all these factors going for me. Like Anthony would say, my time was "nifty".
