4x400-- 77, 73, 68, 65
this was the best workout i've had in a while. i know it was pretty easy, but i was excited for a good workout. the tempo felt good--i miss tempos. i think i could've pushed harder in the middle of the mile, because i picked it up a bunch in the last 200m; maybe i can't accurately gauge how tired i am. the 400s felt comfortable and i was able to go negative for all 4, so that was encouraging. i'm not really sure where to go from here; this was probably my last official workout with the team, so from now on i'm on my own. should i run fewer workouts and up the mileage to prepare for the thanksgiving half? or should i train with sly to get a good sprint base for indoor? i'm leaning towards more mileage base, with a few workouts thrown in to keep the speed in my legs.
