Legs felt good coming in and I had no ankle pain the entire race. This course was a real cross country course with some steep hills and river crossings on bridges. The wind was whipping which really hurt me on some long straightaways. I was racing really well until I got a bad side stitch about 5.5k in that really slowed me down until Maccoll showed up and starting yelling at me to get going. I was able to pick up the pace for a while and did 29:13. Not terrible for this course, but still a minute off of my PR.
