Comments:
ahh what a great way to end the season! ok so I felt like I was mentally ready but physically not prior to the meet, which was sorta the opposite of what others felt. However once the gun went off I felt great. I "risked it" as anthony said, and went agressive the first mile passing a crapload of people in the funnel loop. After hitting the (theoretical)first mile mark I decided to keep pushing and stayed my pace, passing even more people. Third mile was going just as strong, and I charged up that curved hill through teh straightwaya and down the hill and into the creek. After the creek, I was weighted down by the water alot and i was beyond dead, so when we hit that hill I slowed down a bit (ughh not happy about that) Pushed the down hill and into the finish line. Amazingly happy when I saw the clock ticking in the 22's because thats what I had been trying to break. Forty second PR!!!!

Everyone else did amazingly too. Guys wise, samet pred, boardman got 17:18 (hot damn thats a 24 second pr), griffin smashed 18 minutes and got 17:30's, nelson and leland broke 18, and billy and anant both broke and killed 19 and got like the 18'30's..Girls did great too...Caroline had a 59 SECOND PR, Marisa had a 40 second PR..Tessa and Julia N. both pred by like a minute (i think) and Eva ran 4 WHOLE MINUTES faster than her race at champs.

What a way to end the season! Im pumped for battle at the potomac
