a fast long run/ long tempo

Comments:
in training for the half, i wanted to hammer out a long run. i was thinking about 12, but after yesterday's run, i decided on ten. i ran up north park to shelburne, turned at chesterton, then onto south park. split left at the nature center toward shaker blvd, then west park to south park and back to north park.
the first mile was approximately 6:10, and similar for the second. i was feeling pretty tired through four or five, but i just kept going and i guess it worked out. i'm not sure if it was exactly ten, it might be like 9.85, but still on pace regardless. i was really happy with today's run.
abs and hips afterward, wish i had taken an ice bath though.
